Buy local for a better environmental footprint

We've always had a strong environmental ethos for example we make sure the pine we use is responsibly sourced, where possible we use all off cuts (or give them away so that they can be used by local people) and we also believe that where possible it is important to reduce ones environmental footprint.

When you buy form us, you are supporting a local industry, so many pine furniture companies import from abroad which not only takes work away from local carpenters but it also means the furniture has to be imported from abroad, where certain standards can't always be checked.

Buying local means that the impact on the world is not so great and sustainability is being looked after.

Since we began manufacturing, over 30 years ago, we have seen so many local independent furniture makers not make it, due in large to the cheap imports that have flooded the market. We would like to take the time to thank all of our customers past and present for helping us to be where we are today.
